    Course description: 
    his course provides an introduction to the theory of functions of a complex variable.
    We will cover the following topics: algebra and geometry of complex numbers,
    analytic functions, contour integrals, power series, residues, and conformal mappings.
    Prerequisites:  (MATH 230 or MATH 232 or MATH 405) and (MATH 401 or MATH 403)

    Text: Complex Variables and Applications by Brown and Churchill, ninth edition.
